Later this week, Sophie Jo Hague and her best friend Marcus Andrews are climbing Mount Snowdon, North Wales, the UK’s second highest peak, to raise funds for Alzheimer’s org,
Sophie, 27, is a home carer with Bluebird. She said: “We both lost grandparents who suffered with dementia/Alzheimer’s.
“There is no cure and I hope with everyone’s donations we will find one together. Any donations are hugely appreciated!”
Marcus, also 27, and a friend of Sophie for the past 15 years, is a team leader at Grantham’s TK Max. They both live in Grantham
He said: “ we took on this challenge to make a difference for people with dementia/Alzheimer’s and for the the family’s that see the changes in their loved ones. I hope they will find a cure one day.”
