Grantham-born Lewis Davey, 23, is getting ready to make his Olympic debut after being named in a squad of six for the Men’s 4x400m Relay (at least four will be selected).
Round 1 of the Men’s 4x400m Relay is scheduled to take place at 10.05am on Friday, August 9. The Final will take place at around 8pm on Saturday, August 10.
Lewis attended Priory Ruskin School in the town.
Fellow Grantham athlete Amy Hunt, 22, a Cambridge Corpus Christie student, will also be making her Olympic debut, competing in the Women’s 4x100m Relay (at least four will be selected).
Round 1 of the Women’s 4x100m Relay is scheduled to take place at 10.10am on Thursday, August 8. The Final will take place at around 6.30pm on Friday, August 9.
