British Heart Foundation shop was decorated as part of work experience
Colourful Easter displays made by Grantham College art and design students have been a big hit with a charity shop in the town centre.
The displays in the British Heart Foundation furniture store, on High Street, are the creations of Level 2 students Ella Fisk, Gaile Gumbiene, Ronnie Merritt and Tomasz Stasiewski.
The designs were made as part of the students’ work experience placement, and have proved to be effective in grabbing the attention of potential shoppers.
A large rabbit has been placed on a bed in the front window, a tree branch decorates the entrance while rabbit ears have been dotted around the store.
Maria Wright, the store’s assistant manager, also said the displays impressed the British Heart Foundation’s area manager.
She added: “The students were absolutely brilliant. They are welcome to do as much work as they like here.”
