
Police have charged a man with theft after he was reported to have filled a trolley with groceries and attempted to leave a store.
Officers were called to Asda in Grantham at 7.34pm on 26 July to reports that a group of four men had filled a trolley and attempted to push it out of the store without making payment.
The group were stopped by security but left the scene before officers arrived.
Following local searches of the area, they found a man in Huntingtower Road, Grantham, matching description of one of the suspects a short while later.
Leon Razvan-Georgian, 24, of The Avenue in Tottenham, London, was arrested and charged with theft to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today.
Whilst the vast majority of the public pay for their good despite it been difficult financially this group of non-entities think they can steal what they require.
