Residents are being invited to take part in special Easter fun searching for giant eggs hidden throughout South Kesteven.
The free Giant Easter Egg Hunt has been organised by South Kesteven District Council’s Arts and Cultural Services Team working in partnership with local primary schools, community groups and businesses.
The wooden eggs, built by local artist Simon Kieffer from Outwood CIC, will be hand-decorated by talented pupils from primary schools and community groups and hidden in Grantham, Stamford, Market Deeping and Bourne.
They stand at nearly 3 foot tall and will be hidden in participating businesses, parks and shops across the four towns.
Those taking part will have the chance to seek out the eggs whilst solving puzzles on the trail.
Once all the eggs have been found and the puzzles solved, participants can return to the starting point to receive a sweetie reward.
They will also have the chance to enter a prize draw to win tickets for upcoming shows at the Guildhall Arts Centre or Stamford Arts Centre.
In Grantham, visitors will be able to take in the sights of Wyndham Park as they embark on the trail. Starting from the Wyndham Park Visitor Centre on Saturday 30th March 2024 between 10am and 2pm.
The popular Rotary Club of Grantham Kesteven Duck Race will also return with races starting at 12pm. Tickets will be priced at £1 per duck and are available for purchase on the White Bridge from 10am on 30th March.
