On Thursday morning 7th March between 9 & 10:15am, three vehicles were parked unattended but secure in the car park to Callan’s Wood, Callan’s Lane, Kirkby Underwood, near Folkingham.
During this time a white Lexus was targeted and entry to the rear passenger window was gained. It is suspected that the unknown offender used a tool, possibly a screwdriver to force entry.
A Black suede ‘Fairfax & Favour’ handbag was stolen from within the vehicle.
Police are appealing for witnesses to this crime, therefore: –
Were you in the area around this time?
Did you see anything or anyone or any vehicle acting suspiciously?
Did you see or were you the lone male stood near a hedge in a field at the rear proximity to The Old Rectory, Callans Lane around this time?
Also seen during this time was a ‘bluey coloured’ car, parked strangely on the verge to the front of this property , was this your vehicle?
Incident 188 08/03/19 –– Suspicious vehicle — Rippingale
Around lunchtime Friday 8th March a white ford transit van part reg. F-51 J-F was seen in Station Rd, Pinfold Close areas of Rippingale village. This was deemed suspicious as the 2 male occupants were looking into all the driveways of the properties.
