Fire crews from Sleaford and Brant Broughton attended Temple Road, Welbourn, near Leadenham, to deal with a stack fire containing 600 bales.
I happened just after midnight.
Crews damped down the perimeter of stack to reduce size & carried out a watching brief.

A couple of hours earlier, a Grantham team was called to Rushcliffe Road, in the town.
This was to a van on fire.
Crews used a hosereel jet, Breathing Apparatus and Thermal Image Camera to extinguish.
At 6.30pm the had attended a collision on Ponton Road, Great Ponton.
Crews used Holmatro equipment to assist with casualty extrication, used Stabfast to stabilise vehicle and provided casualty care.
Meanwhile, Stamford and Corby Glen firefighters were attending a collision on A1 southbound near South Witham. Crews provided scene safety and applied Zorb to absorb coolant leak.
