It is with great sadness that we announce Brian Hodson passed away peacefully at Maple Leaf Lodge Care Home on the 19th May 2026, aged 93 years.
Brian leaves 3 daughters, 15 Grandchildren & 11 Great grand children. A house builder by trade since the age of 14, Brian worked on Buckminster Hall, Belton House & Manthorpe Estate. He also built many of the stone fireplaces in the larger houses in Grantham. Brian worked on the committee of the British Heart Foundation in Grantham and also on the committee for Grantham League of friends helping to raise money for their scanner. Brian will be sadly missed by his Family and friends.
A funeral service for Brian will take place at 2:30pm on Monday 8th June 2026 at Grantham Crematorium, followed by light refreshments at Belton Park Golf Club afterwards to celebrate his life.
Donations in Brian’s memory will be taken on the day for the work of South Lincs Blind Society.
