A day of family fun is planned as Lincolnshire celebrates the 74th birthday of the NHS in style.
The whole county is invited to attend NHS Big Tea Party at Ellenders Bar in Boston on Saturday 2 July from 2pm to 5pm.
The fun-filled event will feature a range of activities, including live music performances, a bouncy castle, and food and drink stalls.
There will also be a raffle with all money raised from the event going to the Lincolnshire NHS and United Lincolnshire Hospitals Charities to support the health and wellbeing of NHS staff across the county.
Charlotte Lenton, Charity Fundraising Assistant for Lincolnshire NHS Charity, said: “We are delighted to be holding the NHS Big Tea Party to mark 74 years of the NHS.
“There will be plenty of fun activities on the day, including lots of cake!
“The money we raise will support Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust (LPFT), United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust (LPFT) and Lincolnshire Community Health Services (LCHS) so it really is a great cause.
“Our thanks go to Boston United for allowing us to hold the event at the Jakemans Community Stadium.”
The party will kickstart a week of celebration across all three trusts with plenty of events of planned.
