Big hearted Grantham people aiding Ukraine refugees

Three weeks ago – a call went out to the people of Grantham to donate clothes and food for the refugees of Ukraine ..and boy did you deliver … enough for two large warehouses.

Tonnes of food and clothes were collected by Walton Academy and then Grantham RoundTable set about to to bag it, sort and pallet it up.Grantham Round Table emptied their Charity Account to the tune of over £3,500 (+other donations) which paid for the first HGV and two vans to go to Poland the week before last.

Now we need your help again Grantham to get the last two HGVs with the rest of the donations to Poland£5,000 (£2,500 per HGV) is required for fuel and other necessities to get the HGVs there.

If the money cant be raised, the lorries cant go leave.I appreciate things are tough financially, so if you cant give this time, maybe next time?
