The White House, Brownlow St, is still there in 1939, but the old theatre is gone.
Cottages in Brownlow Street in 1939, since demolished. Premier Court now occupies the site.

    Good photo very atmospheric. My first wife ( God rest her soul) Was, when she was young knocked down by some idiot coming around the corner too fast on the corner of Brownlow Street the marks are still on the corner of the White House

Dont add up in my senile head? ! as I remember you? Awful story but’ she survived that knock down? Yeh! Me diggin too deep soz! But you’ had Mrs when I knew you? Sure you did! Oh I dunno! dont matter! me just all ovver place at times! Sat in back ov Sprinter thing! wanna get home! Or to me bed at least! must be gone midnight + in UK?     Thanks for the sentiment but she survived and went on to lead an eventful life with another husband, but hey that’s life!
    Glad to hear your still upright and kicking, wondering where you were not heard from you in a while.
