Please be aware of people calling regarding PPI claims and requesting Amazon vouchers to release your PPI claim. The callers are claiming to be from a genuine company. They have been calling from the following number: 01618184995 and using the name Kevin and mention a courier called Mark White.
If you receive any calls requesting payment in gift vouchers such as Amazon, Steam or iTunes, please do not engage with them.
What can you do to stop these types of calls?
- Many telephone service providers now offer a free call blocking service which will stop many scam calls.
- You can buy telephones with a built in call blocker which will screen your calls, requesting that the callers announce themselves before they are connected to you.
- Call blocking devices that attach to your current phone are also available. These give the option to block ALL calls, other than the numbers you program in.
However, please be aware of companies cold calling you to offer call blocking services.
