This year’s Barrowby Scarecrowd Weekend, on Saturday & Sunday, is themed Famous People in History. Many households in the village have joined in the fun.
The family BBQ will be on the Village Green on the Sunday afternoon from 5.00pm. until 7.00pm. The usual burgers (incl. veggies) and hotdogs will be available as well as live music and the prize giving. In addition to the usual prizes, there is the People’s Choice award (for you to judge and vote for over the two days) and a revamped children’s quiz competition linked to the scarecrows on display.
The whole weekend is organised with the aim of fundraising to support the Barrowby News Newsletter andto have FUN and celebrate the best of Barrowby at the same time!
