Avoiding the hassle of selling a home in Lincolnshire

October 19, 2024 by Grantham Matters Leave a Comment

A housebuilder has introduced one of its exclusive quick home selling schemes at a popular development in Witham St Hughs.

B&DWNM – A street scene at The Meadows in Witham St Hughs

To help speed up the moving process and potentially receive financial benefits, Barratt Homes’ Part Exchange Guarantee scheme is now available for second steppers to take advantage of at The Meadows, located off Camp Road.

As part of the scheme, the developer purchases the homebuyer’s existing property which not only guarantees a buyer, but can also enable them to move sooner.

If a homebuyer’s current property sells for more than the agreed offer provided by Barratt Homes, the developer will also provide the difference minus its costs.

Martyn Parker, Sales Director at Barratt Homes North Midlands, said: “Home buyers who are keen to move but worried about the time it can take to sell an existing property could make best use of our Part Exchange Guarantee scheme to save them the hassle.

“The scheme is available on selected properties at The Meadows, and we’d encourage anyone keen to learn more to book an appointment with our Sales Advisers.”

There are five key benefits to the Part Exchange Guarantee scheme:

  1. Price guarantee – Barratt Homes makes an offer based on two independent valuations, based on a presumed sale of eight to 10 weeks. The developer will then remarket a homebuyer’s existing property at its open market value and if it sells for more than the agreed offer, the profit will be returned.
  2. No chain to worry about – With the housebuilder as a guaranteed buyer, the buying journey has less stress and a lot more certainty.
  3. Save on estate agent fees – House-hunters could save money while avoiding the need to appoint estate agents or keep their home ready for viewings.
  4. No renting or storage – Property buyers can stay in their current home until the new one is ready, saving them the cost and hassle of arranging stop-gap plans.
  5. A quicker move – With the whole process simplified, homebuyers could be relaxing in their new Barratt home sooner than they imagined.

Barratt Homes currently has a range of two, three and four bedroom properties available at The Meadows, currently priced from £204,995.

For information about the new homes available at this development or other developments in the county, call the sales team on 033 3355 8472, or visit the website at Barratt Homes in Lincolnshire.
