Bonfire leads to hedge blaze
Grantham firefighters attended a fire on Green Street, Great Gonerby., at lunchtime today (Friday). There was severe fire damage to 2sm of hedgerow and a tree stump. The fire was xtinguished using a hose reel jet, a drag, a water backpack and a Thermal Imaging Camera. T It was caused by embers from nearby bonfire.
