Police investigating an alleged assault which occurred at McDonalds, Bridge End Road, Grantham last Thursday (20/08/2020) have made an arrest. A police spokesman said A 21 year old woman, has been arrested on suspicion of common assault.  She has been released under investigation pending further inquiries. The alleged assaut was on a female staff member.

Power cuts are affecting homes and business in Grantham town centre. The London Road, Wharf Road area, including Norton Street etc are affected totalling about 260 properties. Western Power Distribution hopes to resolve the situation by noon.
