Double decker bus fire
Fire crews from Grantham and Sleaford attended a double decker bus on fire on the A153 Grantham Road, Greylees, near Wilsford yesterday evening. There was severe fire damage to the engine bay and severe smoke and heat damage to remainder of the bus. Crews used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to extinguish.

Forty-nine vehicles stopped near Grantham in three-day police operation
Forty-nine vehicles have been stopped on the A1 during a three day operation targeting large goods vehicles last week. Operation Tramline saw Lincolnshire police officers use an unmarked HGV lorry. During the three days of action, 49 vehicles were stopped; 32 HGVs, 11 LGVs and six private vehicles. There were 46 offences identified in total. […]
