Three fire crews tackle chimney blaze
Fire crews from Grantham, Donnington and Corby Glen attended a chimney fire in a thatched property on Village Street, Pickworth, at 7.30pm yesterday evening. There was severe damage by fire to a small quantity of soot in chimney. Crews used chimney gear, stirrup pump, 13.5 metre ladder and two thermal imaging cameras.
