Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop and police pursuit through Grantham town centre yesterday evening (Tuesday 8 November).
Officers on patrol in the town had signalled for a driver to pull over in Springfield Road, but the motorist failed to stop resulting in a pursuit.
The car was a black 06-reg Audi A4 saloon.
This happened between 4.50pm and 5.05pm this evening, and we believe that there will have been a lot of witnesses who could help us with our enquiries.
The vehicle drove down the following roads, and we are asking for any pedestrians who may have seen the vehicle to come forward. We would also like to hear from any cyclists who may have Go-pro camera footage, or motorists who may have captured the vehicle on dashcam to come forward.
Police would also be keen to view CCTV or doorbell footage, and ask that people who were along the following roads during the timeframe to examine any footage they may have:
• Springfield Road
• Huntingtower Road
• Earlesfield Lane
• Goodliff Road
• Trent Road
• Hornsby Road
• Dysart Road
• Through the town gyratory system
The vehicle stopped in Sankt Augustin Way where a 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving, driving with no licence or insurance, and failing a drug swipe. He remains in police custody.
