Police are appealing for witnesses following report that a bracelet was taken from a woman walking along the riverbank in Grantham on Thursday 24 October.
The woman was walking between Sainsbury’s and Bridge End Road in the direction of Bridge End Road when she was approached by a man between 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
During an interaction, a Nomination bracelet was taken from around her wrist, before the offender ran in the direction of Bridge End Road.
He is described as approximately 5ft 8 inches tall with a medium build, and was wearing a black zip up hoodie with the hood up and tightened around his face. He had black tracksuit trousers on and black trainers.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who might have information or be able to help with our investigation into this incident:
Have you been offered a Nomination bracelet for sale, or seen one listed on social media selling sites? The bracelet is very distinctive and is described as silver with numerous charms, including a pearl on it, a letter ‘C’, a handbag, and a silver heart on it.
Do you have any camera footage – mobile phone, dashcam, CCTV – of that area or the nearby roads which might have captured someone matching the description?
If you can help, please contact DC Victoria Crawley at Grantham CID via victoria.crawley@lincs.police.uk or call 07920829221, quoting incident 304 of 24 October.
