What a month
for the Grantham-based dance company. After over a year of planning and preparation Chantry Dance Company finally took their 2019 ballet, Alice – Wonderland Through the Looking Glass on tour around the UK. The tour was a huge success and they have been overwhelmed by the wonderful feedback from audiences up and down the country. “What
a joyous show ‘Alice….’ is! With a clear narrative thread it is packed with
lively and inventive dancing, engaging comedy and some amusing stage craft.
The characters come to life through the choreography which in turn fits the
music like a glove. The whole production has a boundless energy which is
infectious. The audience loved it”.
