An outdoor cinema will be returning this summer with several screenings across Lincolnshire. Adventure Cinema will be holding hundreds of screenings across 60 destinations this year, including in Lincoln, Grantham and Bourne.
From family favourites and sing-a-long classics to action-packed blockbusters, there will be something for all ages to enjoy. It is a great way to enjoy a film together while also making the most of the warm summer nights.
From Thursday, August 14, to Sunday, August 17, there will be showings of The Greatest Showman, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, Mamma Mia and Pretty Woman at Lincoln Castle. There will also be five films played at the Belton Estate in Grantham from Friday, August 8, to Sunday, August 10.
These will include The Gruffalo/Stick Man, The Greatest Showman, Moana 2, Mamma Mia and Pride and Prejudice. Meanwhile, the open-air cinema will also be visiting Grimsthorpe Castle in Bourne with showings of Grease, The Goonies and Bridget Jones’ Diary on the final weekend of August.
Adventure Cinema will also be going across the Lincolnshire border to Wollaton Hall in Nottingham, Wentworth Woodhouse in Rotherham, Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire and Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire. Each of the Lincolnshire sites will have a bar, with hot food and snacks available to purchase, and picnics are also welcome.
