Drivers in and around Grantham will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for next week.
But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A1, from 9pm January 6 to 6am January 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A1 northbound, Great Gonerby to Allington, carriageway and lane closure due to maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network and local authority network.
• A1, from 8pm January 7 to 5am January 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A1 northbound, Little Ponton to Harlaxton, slip road and lane closure due to maintenance works, diversion via National Highways network and local authority network.
• A1, from 8pm January 10 to 5am January 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A1 southbound, Great Casterton to Tinwell, Lane closure due to maintenance works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
