The A1 in Nottinghamshire is closed northbound between A46 (near Newark upon Trent) and B6325 (near North Muskham) due to a collision. Emergency services including the Nottinghamshire Police are on scene.
Traffic is being diverted via the hollow triangle diversion symbol.
Exit the A1 northbound at the A46 Newark junction and turn right at Brownhills Roundabout onto the A46. Continue until the roundabout with the A46/A617/A616 Cattle Market Roundabout. Turn right onto the A616 until the South Muskham mini roundabout. Continue straight over onto the B6325 to North Muskham interchange and take the northbound entry slip road to re join the A1.
Road users are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their journeys.
