Victoria Rigby (b1990)
Victoria was born in Grantham with Scottish and Geordie roots and went to KGGS.
She read English at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge and graduated in 2011 with a Double First.
Her areas of interest at Cambridge included literary modernism in England and France and Victorian mediaevalism.
While at Cambridge, Victoria performed extensively at the ADC and with the Cambridge University Musical Theatre Society.
She toured Japan with the Pembroke Players’ Shakespeare Tour, and sang soprano with the Pembroke College Chapel Choir.
She lives in London, splitting her time between acting, writing, reading and teaching. She is also a singer and musician with a background in classical piano music and ballet, and continues to train in London
Victoria’s ‘electrifying’ one-woman show, Girl From Nowhere, received rave revues.
Earlier this year, Victoria toured the UK with Tom Attenborough and ATG’s production of ‘Private Lives’, alongside Tom Chambers and Charlotte Ritchie.
She plays the lead role, Grace Crowder, in Tell Them of Us, a World War 1 feature film by WAGScreen.
You can also see her as the lead in Virgin Active’s 2016 ad campaign.
Victoria appeared in a ‘finely judged’ performance as Beryl in ‘Flowers of the Forest’ at the Jermyn Street Theatre.
On film she is known for The Lady of Shalott (2009) and Tell Them of Us (2014).
