Koper, Grant – From Grantham Am-Dram to running his own theatre company

Grant Koper (b1990)

Grant Koper was born at Aylesbury but moved to Grantham when he was eight.

He was a pupil at William Robertson High School.

Grant loved theatre and joined the drama group in the Guildhall as well as Grantham School of Dance and Harrowby Singers.

In 2007 he moved to London when I got a place in Laine Theatre Arts after  receiving a Betty Laine Scholarship where he graduated as head boy.

He studied musical theatre and acting with LAMDA. to train professionally and since graduating has been working as a performer.

Grant appeared in QUIT Anti Smoking Campaign.

Last year Grant appeared in the internationally acclaimed ‘Music Hall Tavern Show’, touring all four Canary Islands until 2016 where he has been invited to tour alongside Mrs T, AKA Paul Carroll and Guapatini, AKA Paul Burnham in the UK & Ireland MHT Tour.

He is also proudly the Executive Producer for Grant Koper Ltd, a new company producing the National UK Tour of ‘Some Enchanted Evening’.

On top of that, he is a published children’s author, with  The Day Granny’s Knickers Blew Away.
