SKDC is updating its town films aimed at attracting investors to the district and new versions are being produced narrated by controversial sports journalist John Inverdale.
The Rugby World Cup host is a former Radio Lincolnshire sports presenter.
The Council launched films for Bourne, The Deepings, Stamford and Grantham in 2013, as part of a suite of marketing tools to promote the district.
The updated five minute films are set to be re-released later this month, coinciding with Mr Inverdale’s high profile role as TV anchor in the finale of the Rugby World Cup.
Last year, the Radio 5Live commentator was axed from the nightly programme after declaring on air that player Marion Bartoli was “not much of a looker”
He visited Grantham to take a look at their assets and talk to local business owners.
The features will run on SKDC’s YouTube Channel and be marketed to potential investors and tourism outlets and they are designed to build on the thousands of online views the 2013s films attracted.
SKDC’s Strategic Director for Development and Growth Steve Ingram said: “We are keen to give investors an updated picture on our town’s real plus points as part of our priority to help grow the economy.
“Grantham’s growth plans and excellent travel links will be focussed on during the films.
“We’ve also highlighted local independent businesses and national retailers and asked them why they have chosen to do business here.”
