Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man sustained injuries believed to be from a chainsaw in near Grantham yesterday (Monday 8th June).
Emergency Services were called to an address on Hillside Road, Woolsthorpe-by-Belvoir, at 11.38am where a 44-year-old local man was found injured. He was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment for an arm injury.
A 38-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and is currently in police custody.
Officers are working to establish the exact circumstances involved and would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that may assist the enquiry.
