A pedestrian crossing on the High Street in Great Gonerby will be closed for one day for improvements.
The closure will be in place from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday, 27 October while the beacon posts and globes on the crossing are replaced. These upgrades will make the crossing safer and more energy efficient.
Mark Heaton, Area Highways Manager, said: We’ve planned the work on this crossing, which is near a school, for the half-term break to minimise any inconvenience.
“The closure is in place during off-peak hours, which should also reduce the impact of the work.”
