The latest update on the Dysart Road Improvements.
What we achieved in October
- Completed footway works on the southside of site, from Dexter Avenue to Railway Bridge
- Started kerbing at the eastern end of Dysart Road, from Trent Road to Low Road
- Began night-time resurfacing and road reconstruction work on the carriageway, starting at the railway bridge and heading west along Dysart Road
- Continued drainage repairs, channel repairs and kerbing works
What’s happening in November
- Continue footway works on the northside of site, from Coles Way to Barrowby Gate
- Continue footway surfacing works at the eastern end of Dysart Road
- Continue drainage repairs, channel repairs and kerbing works
Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures
- 24/7 westbound closure of Dysart Road
- Temporary traffic signals west of Trent Road on Dysart Road
- Night-time closures for carriageway reconstruction works (between Dysart Road railway bridge and Trent Road) until early November, weekday evenings only, 7pm to 6am
Upcoming traffic restrictions and closures
- Night-time closures for carriageway reconstruction works (from Trent Road to Low Road – just west of the A1 overbridge) starting Tuesday 5 November for three weeks, weekday evenings only, 7pm to 6am
