A portal would have been the answer to Grantham Market Place

Personally, I think having one of these portals – like the one proposed linking Dublin to New York, – installed in Market Place would have increased footfall way-more than the works that started this week.

It also wouldn’t have disrupted the local businesses that will suffer whilst the works are being completed.

I can’t imagine this portal is cheap but I don’t think it would be anywhere near £4M! In addition, what a fantastic way for us all to connect on a fundamental level to help emphasise the idea that all people on Earth are interconnected, regardless of their backgrounds, cultures, or geographical locations.

Much needed given the current national and world political climate. But, where in the world would Grantham’s portal connect to?!
