Jenni and Jack Swift say…
The Butterfly Ball is being held in memory of our daughter Evelyn, on Saturday 4th May at Belton Woods Hotel.
There will be a delicious three course meal, auction and raffle, and live entertainment. It will be a night to remember – we want to give people the opportunity to have fun and let their hair down.
All proceeds will go to Parenting Mental Health, which is a charity very close to our hearts.
Parenting Mental Health is one of the few charities in the UK that specifically helps parents who are supporting a child with mental health challenges.
During our daughter’s illness, Parenting Mental Health became a lifeline for us. Finding this community of over 38,000 other parents and carers who understood what we were going through and knowing we weren’t alone, was so powerful. Since Evelyn’s death, this community continues to support us.
We would like to give something back, and help raise funds so that other families receive the support they so desperately need as early as possible in their journey.
We are so grateful to so many local businesses who have sponsored the tables and other elements of the ball, meaning we can maximise profit for Parenting Mental Health.
We are also so grateful for so many generous donations for our raffle and auction. We have amazing prizes on offer including a weekend in Whitby, a day in a recording studio, time with a personal stylist, rugby tickets and much more. The auction and raffle will be hosted online in advance of the ball, please follow our page for updates.
