WHEN? Friday 2 December 2022
WHAT? Alzheimer’s Society Elf Day – make sure your best festive photos are all ‘elfies’! Dress yourself, your family, or even your pets in the finest festive attire & get ‘fun-raising’…!
WHY? Start the festive celebrations early on 2 December by unleashing your ‘inner elf’ and raising vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society.
It’s never been more important to unite against dementia. Money raised will go towards Alzheimer’s Society support services, which were used 4.2 million times last year. With your help, we can make sure that no one is facing dementia alone.
So, whether you don some essential pointy ears and bells, sparkle head-to-toe or dust off your favourite and most colourful Christmas jumper, all that matters is raising money to help the 900,000 people currently living with dementia in the UK.
You can host an Elf Day any way you like to keep you jingling all the way to Christmas – why not hold a best dressed competition with your family, friends, or colleague, host a festive games night or bake sale or even organise an Elf Day at your school. You don’t need to buy anything new, that old stripey jumper at the back of the wardrobe will do fine! But if you’re stuck for costume ideas and would like to spend your money where it will make a difference, Alzheimer’s Society’s online shop has plenty of elfish garments and gifts available to buy at shop.alzheimers.org.uk
So, join in the fun this festive period and help people affected by dementia too. Sign up for your free fundraising pack at alzheimers.org.uk/elfday
And make sure you use the hashtag #elfday for your ‘elfies’!
