Join Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland SMEs in the latest Creative Catalyst workshops from Business Lincolnshire next month!
Starting on Wednesday 16th November, the creative workshops from Business Lincolnshire offer local businesses the opportunity to develop their creative potential and boost their business during the tumultuous economic climate.
Hosted by Rebecca Stockdale, innovation and start-up consultant at Much Clearer, the Creative Catalyst workshops will enable Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland businesses to apply innovation and creative thinking techniques to some of the challenges, and opportunities, in their day-to-day working practices.
During the first successful cohort of the workshops earlier this year, businesses were able to explore and diversify their communicative processes and digital offerings, offering new opportunities for businesses to understand their customer’s needs and increase revenue.
Grantham-based freight transport company RISA UK, just one of the businesses involved in the previous cohort, praised the programme of support on offer. They said: “Their approach was so different to anything we had done previously. It taught us how to evaluate an idea in an easy and quick way to see if was worth pursuing. Really brilliant workshops and we are so grateful we were given the opportunity to attend.”
The autumn course will be delivered in two group workshops, offering the opportunity to network with like-minded local SMEs, with the third session providing a one-to-one meeting with the company and their wider team, focussed on bringing individual business ideas to life.
Rebecca Stockdale, who will be leading the sessions, has helped a number of companies gain market advantage and trained numerous businesses in essential skills needed to navigate challenging periods of growth. She said: “The Creative Catalyst workshops offer the perfect opportunity for businesses to explore, and pursue, new growth opportunities with confidence.
“The last workshops held in summer were met with huge success, with businesses really appreciating time away from their usual day-to-day to collaborate and consider different options than they ever would normally.”
Cllr Colin Davie, Executive Councillor for Economy and Place at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “We’re thrilled to be able to offer our Creative Catalyst workshops again to local businesses this autumn.
“Rebecca’s experience in advising and training teams on new, creative approaches has helped a huge number of businesses achieve growth through greater alignment with market needs. The course is designed for anyone who is interested in developing opportunities – all we ask is that there is real desire to experiment and change, which is at the heart of this programme.
“The workshops are ideal for anyone in need of some fresh approaches to solve old problems, to help you learn the skills and techniques to engage with your customer base, to acquire innovation and to help you understand how to build and embed a culture and practice of ongoing innovation.”
The first session in the Creative Catalyst autumn series launches on Wednesday 16th November, with the following session taking place on Wednesday 30th November. The course is designed for organisations within Greater Lincolnshire or Rutland, with 5 or more employees.
The sessions are free of charge to businesses registered with Business Lincolnshire. More information about the event can be found online here: www.businesslincolnshire.com/start-and-grow-my-business/grant-and-support-finder/creative-catalyst/
