| Members of the UNITE union will take strike action on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 October. UNITE members predominantly work in our depots and this affects our ability to provide trains for the days service. As a result, we will operate a significantly reduced service on Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 October with fewer trains available and some lines will be closed. On strike days, you should only travel by rail if absolutely necessary. Most running EMR services will operate between the hours of 0730 – 1830 only. Please ensure you check the time of your last return train before you travel. This applies to all running services except trains between Corby and London, Crewe and Nottingham and a slightly reduced service between Nottingham and Worksop.
