Phase three works continuing ahead.

What was achieved in September

Phase Three

• West side of site – pier 3 bases concreted / pier 2 upstands concreted / pier 3 upstands concreted
• East side of site – excavate plug of earth at Whalebone Lane / roadbox and surfacing between Whalebone and Development / complete Piling at Pier 4 / excavate cofferdam at Pier 4 / complete Infiltration Trenches between Whalebone and Development

What’s happening in October

Phase Three

• West side of site – Backfill Pier 3 excavations / Install Piers 1, 2 & 3 / Install Liner to Pond B
• East side of side – Surfacing from Whalebone Lane to Ch1400 / Installation of Narrow Filter Drain & Grass Channel Whalebone Lane to Ch1400 / Excavate and Crop Piles @ Pier 4 / Begin FRC Works to Pier 4 / Install Liner to Pond A

Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures

• Lane Restrictions Around the B1174 Roundabout to facilitate the construction of the Haul Route and Access into site.
• Whalebone Lane Closed
• Lane Restrictions around Somerby Hill Roundabout.
