A man has been taken to hospital after a single-vehicle crash on the A15 near Grantham.
The crash, involving a skip lorry, took place on the A15 between the A52 roundabout and the Osbournby roundabout.
Police were called to the scene at around 7.52am on Tuesday, September 13 and the road was closed at 9.21am to assist with the recovery of the vehicle. The road had to be cleared of debris and the vehicle was finally recovered by 11.13am.
According to Lincolnshire Police, the driver of the lorry was taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Pictures show another lorry lifting what appears to be soil out of a ditch on the side of the road, which is likely to be debris left by the skip lorry.
A road closure was in place but has since been lifted after police dealt with the incident. A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We were called to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a skip lorry on the A15 between the A52 roundabout and the Osbournby roundabout at 7.52am today (13 September).
“The driver of the lorry was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“The road was closed at 9.21 to assist with the recovery of the vehicle and for the road to be cleared of debris. The vehicle was recovered by 11.13am and the road is expected to be reopened in the next hour. Incident 69 of 13 September relates.”
