People with a passion for culture are invited to consider becoming a Trustee of soundLINCS to help forge the future of the arts across the County.
Over the past 23 years, soundLINCS a registered charity, has been unleashing potential through music. The Charity has worked with, and been a part of the lives of many different people from all backgrounds.
Recent projects have included work with Older Adults, vulnerable young people, Health and Wellbeing and Heritage sites.
In these challenging times, soundLINCS knows there has never been a time where the importance of Community Music is needed more and is looking to continue supporting, developing increased empowerment
and innovation in community music locally, nationally and internationally and continuing to build on its excellent reputation within the music sector.
The role of the Board of Trustees is to contribute to and support soundLINCS’ overall strategy and direction through effective participation at quarterly board meetings and by acting as ambassadors to promote the charity’s work.
Applications are welcomed from candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds, including the arts, entertainment, education and the business community.
All soundLINCS Trustees give their time on a voluntary basis, although reasonable expenses may be claimed. The closing date for applications is 21 February.
