After all the turmoil over the last 18 months, Grantham’s Walking Footballers finally got back into the groove three months ago,
Though there has been restrictions and changes,
They have not been in a position to arrange a competion for The Tim Cullington Cup, which was donated By Tracey & her Family in Memory of her late husband.
Tim sadly collapsed and died while playing walking football so it was decided for this year it would be presented to someone who has gone that extra mile to make sure that things got back up to normality’.
A ballot was held by all the players,
And the Winner of The Tim Cullington Cup was Steve Naulls, Steve has really been dedicated to helping Ian ‘Pugsy’ Parker to get it up and running.
“I’m so so grateful for his help and support”, said Pugsey.
The lads play walking football every Wednesday 5-6pm At Grantham Meres Leisure Centre.
