The county council has announced a new policy for the potholes that frequently appear in Grantham Roads.

The sports council has agreed to an unspecified grant.
County Highways spokesman A Phule said: “This new scheme will be a boon for the people of Grantham.
“Instead of being stuck in their cars, they can go for a paddle or have a bath in specially adapted potholes, thanks to a suggestion by Dee Farrell.
“And on Gorse Lane, we hope to create three Olympic size swimming pools from holes already there.”
