Aspiring showjumper Natasha Hamblin, from Grantham, Lincolnshire, has been appointed as a brand ambassador for the well-known equine feed company SPILLERS™.
Natasha is one of 11 ambitious riders who won their place from 650 entries to join the new SPILLERS Ambassador Programme. With this substantial leg up from SPILLERS Natasha, together with her palomino tobiano sports horse Reuben, hopes to take great strides in fulfilling her equestrian dreams this year.
During the year Natasha will be given coaching sessions from professional event rider Andrew Hoy who is based in Leicestershire, as well as consultations from a SPILLERS nutritionist, £250 of SPILLERS feed vouchers and a collection of SPILLERS-branded riding kit. They will be charting and sharing their progress across social media channels and will also have the exciting opportunity of becoming a guest blogger on the SPILLERS website.
Over the next three years Natasha plans to continue to produce Reuben towards eventing at BE novice/intermediate and above and also compete in pure dressage.
She said: “My passion and drive make me want to keep learning and just keep pushing for my dream of being a top rider and trainer. Having fed Spillers to my horses over the last 10 years I’m now so excited to have this amazing opportunity of being one of the final 11 ambassadors! I can’t wait to share mine and my young horse Reuben’s experiences with everyone and hopefully be a successful eventing partnership!”
Natasha was one of 20 candidates shortlisted by SPILLERS for a place on the programme. She won her place by producing a brief video explaining why she deserved the position and horse lovers on social media voted for their favourites. All the ‘likes’ and ‘loves’ were counted as votes and taken into consideration when SPILLERS made the final decision on the winners.
