Do you have what it takes to lead one of Lincolnshire’s premier sports clubs?

 Grantham Swim Club are looking for a Chairperson to head up our dynamic committee of volunteers and steer the club to an even higher level.

Established in 1908, GSC are a thriving competitive swimming club for all ages with big aspirations for the future, and we are looking for someone who can match our ambition with the drive and determination to help us deliver it.

We were once a small club – and while we remain limited in numbers and have a long waiting list – we are proud to be one of Lincolnshire’s top performance swim clubs with swimmers competing at county, regional and national level.

 The Club Chairperson plays a pivotal role in our constitution – you’ll be a figurehead for the club, chair our monthly committee meetings, support our committee’s decision-making process and be full of ideas on how we can improve the swimming journey for around 200 local swimmers, their parents and carers, and our many volunteers.

 This is an extremely rewarding voluntary role for the right person and should take no more than an hour or two a week of your time. Whether you have a passion for swimming, enjoy working with volunteers or simply want to help young people be the best they can be in a rapidly-growing sport, we want to hear from you.
