Don’t know about the Christmas Fair, but what has happened to the Granby?( 1st picture) it’s now a restaurant, coffee house and wine bar!!!!! I bet some of the very well seasoned drinkers who used to frequent the former establishment will be turning in their graves. Got to cater for those trendies who can’t manage a pint I suppose, proberbly has tapas on the go as well.
It was a very good public house in it’s time patronised by some hard working but rough diamonds, most if not all will no longer be with us.
