Students at King’s School Grantham are once again running their Toy Bank charity event.
This student-run project has been funning for the past four years and its main goal is to make sure that on Christmas morning, every child can run downstairs to see a variety of gifts waiting for them so they can enjoy their Christmas like every child should be able to do during this time of giving.
The project targets families whom of which cannot afford to run Christmas this year due to financial difficulties (which makes up for 20% of Grantham’s population).
Student Nick Sherkat said: “Last year, our exposure allowed us to reach out to the families in need and people were lining up down the street from our shop to provide their families with the perfect Christmas, meaning we were able to provide toys for hundreds of children.”
So start digging out those toys that your children and grandchildren have outgrown and take them along and take them along to Newton Fallowell, VBC blinds or The Kings school
Places where the toys will be handed out are:
The kings school: mon-fri 8:20-8:45 and 11:15-11:30
