Several weeks ago, leaflets regarding Brexit were delivered by a newly formed group, Grantham For a People’s Vote.
On Saturday 21st of September, as part of a national day of action, Grantham For a People’s Vote, in alliance with the Lincolnshire European Movement and Stamford for Europe will be hosting a stall in the market.
A Brexitometer will be the main feature of the stall which will offer the people of Grantham the opportunity to have a say on what they think of the current Brexit situation. Everyone has a view and all are welcome to share theirs.
In addition, the campaign stall will have details of the #LetUsBeHeard march in London on 19 October. This could be the biggest march ever in the history of our modern times.
There is a coach going from Grantham. You can sign up on the stall or contact John by email at Lincolnshire@europeanmovement.co.uk.
For information about the stall, contact Patsy by email at GranthamFor_PV@btconnect.com or visit our Facebook page GranthamforAPeoplesVote. All are welcome.
The Thinker says
Did we not have a vote on leaving the EU?
Was it not in favour of leaving the EU.?
Despite my own views on leaving or not we had a democratic vote and an outcome of that vote emerged, what is it about that that is not understood.
When we have a General Election we can’t have a re-vote because we didn’t get the party into power that we wanted.
Too many people wanting to raise banners and start screaming and shouting.
We had a vote if the decision did not go your way or mine we have to abide by that decision the people have spoken once, that is all that should be required.
Too many groups organising marches and protests, it is becoming the “New Religion “ to March and wave banners if you don’t like the outcome of something.
It’s a shame these people don’t march and hold rallies over the amount of knife crime deaths or something else of equal importance like the lack of Police or the damage to the NHS.
