Students kindly give up time to reward parents of disabled children
Caring and compassionate therapists from the college’s R&R Salon treated parents and carers of disabled children to a well-earned luxury pamper day.
The guardians of Grantham Disabled Children’s Society’s members received comforting facials, manicures and pedicures as part of the kind gesture.
An afternoon tea-style lunch was also provided to the ten guests at the salon by Level 2 Beauty Therapy students.
Emma Sudlow, Beauty Therapy lecturer at Grantham college, said: “The day went really well. All the parents enjoyed their treatments, and it was a welcome time to relax and look after themselves.”
Another pamper day is to be organised in the near future, Emma confirmed.
