New Principal appointed at Charles Read Academy

Corby Glen’s Charles Read Academy, part of the David Ross Education Trust, has announced the appointment of Sue Jones as Principal.

Sue brings over 25 years of experience within education. Her previous headship role was held at Stoke Park School in Coventry where she had an ‘instantly positive impact on the school’, according to the most recent Ofsted report – February 2017.

During her career Sue has worked within the Expressive Arts having taught Music, Music Technology and also Drama and Performing Arts to students from Primary up to Key Stage 5.

Ms Jones said: “I am delighted to be leading Charles Read Academy and to be sharing ideas and best practice with my colleagues across the David Ross Education Trust to help improve education outcomes.  

“As well as making sure our students leave Charles Read Academy as their confident, academic best, we will also make sure our school continues to focus and develop our student wellbeing programme.
