Police have now charged three men in relation to the murder of Ian Jackson-Wynch.
Carl Copus, 55, of Greyfriars, Grantham has been charged with murder, fraud, and robbery.
Billy Mitchell, 43, of no fixed address, has been charged with murder, fraud, robbery, and carrying an offensive weapon.
Sean Page, 36, of Tamar Court, Grantham, has been charged with murder, fraud, robbery, and carrying an offensive weapon.
All three men have been refused bail and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 31 January 2026.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy McWatt, of the Major Crime Unit, East Midlands Special Operations Unit, said: “We have now charged three individuals in connection with this tragic incident, and this marks a significant step forward in our investigation.
“Our thoughts remain firmly with the family and loved ones of Ian Jackson Wynch.
“While today’s development brings us closer to justice, our work does not end here. We will continue to pursue every line of enquiry to ensure the full circumstances of this horrific crime are understood and those responsible are held to account. We believe those involved are known to one another and this is an isolated incident.”
