Lincolnshire Police say…
Are you interested in becoming a police officer?

If so, we’re pleased to say that our officer recruitment will re-open next month.
Financial constraints forced us to pause recruiting for new officers earlier this year, but we are now able to open up applications again after receiving a short-term financial support package from the Home Office.
This means that we will be able to maintain our head count of 1186 officers, and allows us to maintain our numbers of PCSOs for this financial year.
The recruitment window will open mid-June and will stay open for at least one month; we will ensure we give enough early notice of the closing date to allow people to get their applications submitted. You can read more about the process on our website: https://www.lincs.police.uk/news/lincolnshire/news/20252/may/police-officer-recruitment-to-re-open/
We unfortunately had to cancel an intake of officers a few months ago, who are all being contacted to be offered a place on the cohort of 40 in September this year.
Any new recruits from our June campaign will have their application progressed towards the cohort in March next year. More details will follow on the recruitment area of our website: https://www.lincs.police.uk/police-forces/lincolnshire-police/areas/careers/join-us/
