The closing date for receipt of applications to the Evan Cornish Grassroots Fund has been extended to 30 June 2019 to give community groups operating in Greater Lincolnshire the chance to apply for up to £5,000 towards costs of: delivering support for vulnerable or isolated people; supporting those with mental health issues; projects that help older people; support for prisoners and their families; job clubs; dementia support; support for people living with domestic violence; food banks/food security projects; bereavement support, etc.
The family will also consider providing funding to groups that have received a grant from them in the past to help ongoing sustainability planning.
Eligibility: Not for profit volunteer led groups, social enterprises, community interest companies that have a governing document, accounts, bank account and relevant policies and procedures. Foundation staff can give support and advice where necessary;
Themes: Social Cohesion, Advice & Support, Older People and Food Security.
